how much we should have for supper?

it is said people should not have much for supper, and have a few is good for ones heath. i just want to know, how much we should have?
should we have half? or others?

The early supper is preferred and we should include more vegetables and protein in our supper. Include one or two spoonfull of cereals also. If you are healthy and not having any disease which require special diet, then One cup of green salad, one or two spoon cereals, one fruit, two or three pieces of meat or one cup of pulses is enough for supper to keep you healthy.

I'm quite familiar with this belief. In fact, there is even a saying which goes something like this, ".. for breakfast, eat like a king; but for dinner, you should eat like a pauper or beggar."
This just means that one should eat much more in the morning for breakfast because naturally, it is the most important meal for the day and it is quite typical that one has more tasks at hand during the morning. As compared with supper or dinner, one has almost nothing to do besides watching tv and sleeping.
I have heard some people say that half of what you have for breakfast is the amount of food you should eat for dinner. Others would even suggest that a quarter of the amount you have for breakfast is what you should eat during supper.
I guess it really depends on your own choice or decision. Personally, I must admit that I don't follow this most of the times. Often, I would eat more during supper rather than for breakfast especially during weekdays when I have to hurry preparing myself to go to the office. While during dinner, I feel more relaxed so I tend to have more at night time.

I used to eat light food at night times when compared to day times. I think it is good for health to eat light food at night times. I think we should complete our supper very early is also the main thing to got good health. I eat tiffins at night times rather than rice. I eat exactly half food as a supper which I eat at day times. I think it is enough for me to good health. Happy to share your views. Happy myLotting.
