I'm really sorry for you..Loosing the cards is really a frustrating one..Though you can block the cards, our minds would be thinking of the same thing again and again.. You have to be very careful with the credit and debit cards. Once my hubby lost his credit card..Though he does not use that card very often, he had them in his wallet always..When the card was lost, his peace of mind too was lost..Then there came the regular procedure - calling the call centre people, blocking the card and getting the guidance for getting a dulicate card..It is really a boring one..But leave the things go..Just relax..You cannot do anything about it but learn a lesson from the incident.

My goodness friend how could it happen to you! You really have to block all those cards to avoid being used by other people. It would really be so tiresome. Next time friend you have to be careful so it will not happen to you again. You need some rest dear.

Try not to get too worked up over this riya. Things happen and they have now been blocked so new ones will arrive and all's well that ends well! I can imagine ho frustrating it would have been though because I have lost my cards before too and it can be a process to get new ones issued. These days I watch mine like a hawk because to lose them here in Egypt would be an absolute nightmare! My issuing banks ar all back in Australia and you can imagine how hard it would be for me to cancel them and arrange re-issue from all the way over here!

getting worked is my second name, that is what my hubby tells me..not that i care.but i do feel bad as it was my hubbys cards and just a few days ago i had created a fuss saying that he was not at all reliable and i would safe-keep the cards for him.now see how the tables have turned.

Hi dear Sorry to hear about all the trouble you have been through. I hope you were able to block the cards before any transactions have taken place by whoever had got their hands on the cards. Hope you dont have much trouble getting the cards replaced. All the best.

hi hon,so good to hear from you yes it was hell of a time ,i had this morning.thankfully no transactions had taken place.as for replacing,i am not in favor of it.i think it is always best to live within our means.but it all would depend on my hubby.

that is my view and not my hubbys.i tend to spend more if i have a debit card.

You need not replace the credit card if you do not want to use it but I dont see any harm in keeping a debit card. There is no question of living beyond means with a debit card.

Hi Riya I know how it feels when we loose something especially when it commes to financial stuff. My Mom once lost her wallent is a shoping mall where she has been going for quite a longtime .....but then loosing and finding something is a part and parcel of life..by blocking the cards rightaway you have proved your awareness and intellegence. You did the right thing. So just dont feel bad you will get many more cards in coming days. :)

I could see it today. It really feels very bad, when such vital cards are lost. Because it takes time to get the duplicate card and there is always a fear that someobody may misuse your credit or debit card, before you got it blocked. Just try to forget the bad incidence, hopefully things will be alright soon. How are you over there?

but you have reported this to the bank and credit card company so you should be fine. don't ever wait too long reporting something like that. I can imagine theft crime is rising in times like this since many people lose jobs and there is not much reliable opportunity out there.

I hate it when I do such things. I hope you can find them. I thought I lost one of my credit cards and then I found it the other day in my purse. I think it was there I just was overlooking it when I was searching for it.

This sad. I wish you were able to find them, I mean, though you have blocked them, at least it will be safe to think that you have just misplaced them rather than thinking they have been used by other people.

Hi there, it's not worth feeling really drained about this sort of thing. Many people misplace their wallets with numerous bank cards and cash still inside. At least you cancelled the cards immediately and without anyone misusing them I assume?

i can understand what you feel.several days ago,i was stolen by two thieves on bus.they put their hands into my bag and get my purse away.i lost my ID card, bank cards, shopping cards, medcine care cards and a lot of coupons ,worth 1,500RMB.the most boring things is that i have to apply them again.cost me a lot of money , time and energy.

The anxiety in your mind trying to figure out where those cards went and whether they would be miused may be causing you to feel drained out. Now that you have informed the concerned card issuing people about the loss, you should relax. It may be a a little inconvenient not having the cards around, but it's only a matter of a few days. I remember loosing a couple of the cards a while ago and got to feel better about it only after recieving the new cards.

Hi there riyasam Aww you poor thing I do feel for you! I was once burgled and they took my bag which had my purse in it which had cards in it also. Not only do you have to ring around and block them all but you then have the worry that someone has used them before you managed to get them blocked and you have to wait for ages for the bank to get new ones issued and until then you have to go into the bank to get some money which you can only do when the bank is open!! It is very frustrating and I hope it all gets sorted for you quickly.
