Big worries on function lost of the husband

My friend is a worker in a local building company, he is a good husband and kind father, he always trys to make his family feel comfortable and satisfy at his best the requirement of his wife and son. But two years ago, he fall down from the top of a six-stair building during working, he got well paid by his company, but he lost his ability of making love, though he tried many hospitals with no chance to get better. Now his wife is trying to divorce with him. My friend now is very upset, he love his wife and tried his best. He worried he is no longer a good husband now, he even thought of die, but he love his wife and son, he couldn't.
