Hello zww. I am sorry for the late response of this discussion of yours.
I think that private ownership of cars should be restricted for the good of helping the environment from getting worse. You know, the emission of gas by so many cars running on the streets every day is increasing the global warming all the while. If we want to have a better environment to live in, we are supposed to be environment-friendly to the earth. I am not in favor of having so many private cars running everywhere. I think that a best solution to this issue of traffic is to have more intercity buses to provide convenience to the public to help save more natural resources and protect our environment.

Yeah, according to our country's current traffic stituation. We have to take strict measure to restrict the quantity of private car. Take zhengzhou (I'm living here)for example, there is more than three hundred private cars registered on average at the traffic poice administraton bureau a day. The development of road in the ciy is far behind the growth of private cars. As we know, big cities like Beijing and Shanghai already took measures to restrict the private cars, as well as in Zhengzhou. It's a policy we have to apply.
