i think there is nothing special about for my name. my name was given by my grandma who was a illiterate. the main reason why she gave the name for me might be the sound, it sounds likea name, maybe.im not so into my name so last year i decided change my name but the office told me that one can not change his name after 16 years old.

looking that you are not happy with your name , and its going to become more problematic when you tried to change but its now its late , friend just be positive and think like that your grand ma perhaps like that name so much thats why she gave you that name and just try the reason and meaning of your name and I am sure you will definately get a beautifull reason behind it since I know one thing that in this world nothing is usless and meaning less .Cheers :-)

"what's in the name" said Shakespeare ... but how could you forget "HE WROTE HIS OWN NAME AFTER QUOTING THIS"....everything we do in life is just for the name.. we live with an identity.. lets say ..NOT A UNIQUE IDENTITY but if someone knows us would only have publicized our name and NOT OUR PHYSICAL APPEARANCE.. moreover, its always true.. that "everything goes-but-the name remains" we live for respect...we possess great degrees.. we do our best to achieve the best... for what? OBVIOUSLY "for the name" we towards the thought of people having known us with our name as our identity.. just to remind you "YOUR NAME IS THE SWEETEST WORD IN THE SWEETEST SOUND EVER HEARD BY YOU IN ANY LANGUAGE" for the name sake--you mate!! :-)

Parents usually give names which have some special significance to them. My siblings and I have names beginning with 'Ros', which is a Malay form of writing for 'rose'. Our mother's preferred flower was rose. The Malay language has a word for this flower but it is feminine and sounds funny when a male is named using this word. 'Ros' sounds neutral. I know of people given names derived from the combination of their parents' names, names of the month they were born in, and names which their parents thought sounded beautiful.

I believe that more than name it's what is the character of the person that counts. Name could be sometimes good some time bad or embarrassing for some, but its only the outer cover, when one will notice the inner character than he\she will come to know the real person.
