Branded or Assembled which one is good?

For me I'll assemble myself as it's cheaper and I can choose the spec I want according to my budgets. And in anytime I want to upgrade, I can just do it myself (won't void the warranty like 'branded' does) When my harddisk is full I can simply grab a harddisk and install, can you do that on branded one? Once you open the casing, you'll void the warranty .

i would go for assembled pc's cause i can modify or select its specs unlike the branded kinds you cant even open the case cause it has a waranty.

I don't think there is anything like best here it's more on dependence of what one requires The real problem with assembled PCs are if designed by an inexperienced person it could be the worst thing to buy, for eg. A branded Pc is designed with power & also heating in Mind The heating consideration is usually forgotten by the people who assemble the PCs but @ same time the branded once give less warrenty Personally i have nothing against or for any side for me price & features matter. I had a HP branded PC which i used over 3 years without any problems Then i upgraded & got an assembled one well things did not turn out to be that good but i managed ....

hi how2do, i like assembled PC because i can choose according to my requirement, and what i think is the best in that particular category, best part is there get cheaper when we choose which equipment of what brand will be in best of our need.

yes HOW2Do its right that Assembled one is good not only because of the good choice but it also economically and through which are you purchasing assembled PC he will provide you service for that PC , but with Branded PC it may creat problem some time when some problems occurs its take time since service centres persons either so busy or due to some critical technical problem you have to shift your pc on some other big city if you are living in small city , I am saying so since I have faced so many time these type of experiece and after that I have perchased again a new computer which is assembled and service man provide me service very better.....

It is much easier to upgrade to newer versions of hardware (say you want an additional graphics card for your newly bought LCD TV monitor) * The components you choose to assemble the computer is of good quality and international brands. You can find details of each and every component, so that you can buy a perfect PC for your requirement and budget.

there are lots of things to consider. ofcourse branded one's really Less problem because it is built with the exact parts to fully function better in performance and reliability and also the technical support from the manufacturer. But if your really aim for pure performance there's nothing beat the Assemble PC because you pick the parts yourself and you can decide of your budget Limits. Good for Gamers who need the extra push that a branded computer can also but with a great amount of price to pay. But Assemble PC you could choose where you can actually save from different shop or if you buy it from just one shop you can save big discount. and you choose the brands of parts to be installed in your system.

better to get Assembled PC. You can always upgrade the hardware to higher specification or custom it to your needs. I am using a lots of Assembled PC but laptop is always Mac Book because I am designer and really need the good graphic for work purpose. What is the price range on Assembled and Branded PC in your place. In Malaysia, I can get a brand new laptop at USD 800

Branded PC have only the specified parts of the company. We will n't have the choice to select the parts. Certain companies parts will be good and some will n't. So I prefer assembled PC to a branded one. Branded one will be costlier too.with the same price of branded one we could assemble a PC with more features

i look for assembled because we get much warranty with assembled but only problem is we have to look for the service centers but if we take branded we can let the company people come to our house for servicing so i prefer assembled

Assembled is best.. u can configure u PC in your own hand... where Branded comes with the Companies Config... and the Warranty of the Parts are given by the company.. where if u buy a assembled PC u can get the manufacturers warranty.. Like for HDD u can get 5yrs from manufactures.. where in Branded u will get total PC warranty.. like 1yr or 2yr.... this is main diff between Branded and Assembled...
