Hi guys! Just want to ask if any of you have actually taken the IELTS exam? My husband is supposed to take the exam next year. We just don't know if he will be needing review sessions. Is it really that hard? What do you think? or We can just save the fee for the review. My husband speaks and writes excellent English. We need IELTS to add points for our application to the skilled-sponsored Visa in Australia. I hope you can enlighten me on this one.

I don't think he needs to attend review session if his English is already excellent. I think IELTS covers written, verbal and listening skill so he could do it himself. I do work in an office that sends workers to the USA and UK and our applicants are required to take the IELTS. There was never an instant when anyone of those we sent to take IELTS test failed although they did not undergo any review sessions. We are Filipinos and English is not our first language.
