You could take them out to dinner to their favorite restaurant. Perhaps a nice card with a gift certificate to THEIR favorite store. Be sure it is a store they like not something for you but for them. If you are not sure what store they like then forget the idea. You could take the dinner idea i mentioned but make it yourself at home as a surprise... it would be nice if you know how to cook well lol. After you make dinner you could give them a nice gift for their home. Like if they have an old coffee table get them a new one if that is too expensive how about taking one of their old and favorite photos and getting it restored, enlarged, and framed for them? That could cost about $40 dollars... There are a dozen things that you could do. How about if they like theater take them to watch a show or something... there is no right or wrong gift for your parents. You know your parents more than anyone else. The point is to keep in mind what they like, what they don't and use that as an outline when you are thinking up gift ideas. No one can tell you the perfect gift other than yourself because only you know them.
