The Flying Dream. Ever had it?

I always dream of flying, and there are many variations to it. Sometimes, I can fly freely like a bird; sometimes I have to summon great energy to be able to do it; sometimes I am running fast from somebody who chases me and then I fly. There are many possibilities in our dreams, things that can never really happen in the real life...

It's called a lucid dream and if you develop the talent, you can do amazing things. I know I can. As for the flying dream, I have only had it once. But it was amazing. Being Autistic, my mind makes images really easily, and I could feel the wind in my hair, and over my hands as I flew. I swear there is no sensation like it on earth or even in the real world.

I also have same dream since i was a child, but i can't fly too high and while flying i am seeing green pastures but lonely place as there are few people around. Some says, flying is equivalent to decision making, ruling our own life without hindrance and getting what we want. Some says if in our dreams we are flying, we are getting the things we want in real life.

As a child I also used to have dreams where I was flying and I must say that I enjoyed them. Sometimes I would even be able to force myself to have these dreams.

I had a dream where I am a gargoyle or a bird or a human with wings or even a super hero but every time I try to fly I fall either down a hole or flat on my face. Personally I think this happens because I have a confidence issue with myself. I have had out of body experiences though where I was looking down on myself and someone else was controlling me or it was a past version of me and I couldn't stop what I was doing, which is probably down to past regrets.However they never reoccur.
