Are you someone's alarm clock?

Many of us are for our kids. But I mean for an adult. I have a friend who works in the hotel biz. He doesn't have a set schedule. On his days off he expects that I call him between 10-10:30 am to make sure he doesn't sleep into the afternoon. He does an awful lot for me and my family, so this re-payment is a small thing. Plus he can sleep through an alarm clock like no one I have ever seen. Do you do this for anyone?

On occasion yes. I used to be for my brother who also could sleep through a alarm clock even if it sounded like a bomb going off..lol But my husband tells me if I am up still at a certain time to get him up for he won't over sleep for work sometimes. Alarm clocks usually wake me up every time but it never hurts to have someone call to make sure.

I don't.. but I suppose I would. It seems like a nice thing to do for a friend. It might be a hassle, but it doesn't cost much more than a moment of your time.

Nope, everyone else is my alarm clock. Actually we don't need an alarm clock because the kids wake up so early. The baby is usually the first up, and hubby gets him, that's hubby's bonding time with the kids since he doesn't get home until after they're in bed, plus he has free time to get on the puter and do what he wants to do before I wake up.
Then either the toddler will wake me up when he gets up, or hubby will wake me when he's leaving for work.
I've never had to be anyone else's alarm clock that doesn't live in my house.
