have you make an investment with referrals in PPC websites

what is your opinion about make an investment buying referrals in pay per click websites. have you done that before? I was signed up in a PPC website, but I have never bought any referral. Have you got good experienced with that, it was possible for you get a profit in short time as the different advertisement mention. do you recommend that method. In the website I participated making click, I complete the minimum payout and make my payment requestment but after 5 months I haven't received anything from them :( That is so dissapointment.
