My dog has hip dysplasia...

And he might end up needing a hip replacement. He's been hobbling quite a lot recently and needed special pain killers for it. We've tried hydrotherapy to strengthen the muscles a few years back, but the problem is back again. On top of that we've been giving him primrose oil every day for a good few years. He's still full of life though and nothing will stop him from bounding about.
What health problems do your pets have, and what treatments/cures have you used to help in the long run?

My dog has had hip problems for a long time, but I'm not actually sure what the diagnosis is. I've been told a few things. But it's so bad now that she barely moves. It's pretty sad.
She also has a number of fatty tumors that scare me.
