Would you rather be in the 50's, 60's, 70's, 80's, or the 90's?

I could still remember when I was little and that was in the 70's. Life then was much simple. Music was good and have true meaning to it, unlike today's music which is totally full of crap. I just wish they wouldn't make revivals of old music then alter it a little. That's uncool! And yes, the fashion! Anyone of you seen Austin Powers? Those outfits really exist. Isn't that cool?

I came into the world at the end of the 50's so I don't remember. I spent my childhood in the 60's, grew into an adult in the 70's, the 80's are a blur, the 90's are when I finally grew up! There were wonderful and horrible things about them all.
I agree with you about remaking songs, there have been very few that I like better than the originals.
Yes we did dress like that in the 60's! Hard to believe I know but we thought it was very cool back then! Personally my favorite fashion and music decade was the 80's, especially the heavy metal scene. Oh we were so sexy. Big hair, spandex, tons of makeup (guys too!), tons of jewelry, torn denims, black stiletto thigh high boots and we rocked all night and partied every day... we got wild Could be why most of the 80's is a blur. I wouldn't mind going back, without the blur part this time!

i came a little after you ,but the best time i ever had was when i was six and living with my grandparents in grants NM .i used to catch horned toads to see how many i could get into a shoe box.haha.our mail carrier came to our house on horseback.you know what else? people back then had time to say hi and smile . you didn't have to lock your door at night. imagine, laying in bed at night and hearing nothing, but crickets!!!oh , and of course the everly brothers.oh to have the sixties back!!!

The different decades mean something different in terms of my life. I prefer today, the first decade of the new millennium. There are possibilities which I never thought about when I was younger. This is the best decade for me even if it has been very difficult and trying. Cheers!!

Gosh, that's a hard one to answer.
I think, I would have to choose the 90's. I couldn't live without the internet or cell phones. Although, I think with all today's technology, it has ruined our kids.
I remember as a little girl, playing outside from sun up to sun down. Today, my kids sit inside and play online or play video games. In my opinion, they aren't experiencing life as they should.

i agree with you as far as not experiencing life like they should, but in our society today how easy is it to do that? when you live in the city our fears keep us in after dark. and if you live in the country you always hear of some convict who has escaped from prison in the area.so how do you win with the kids or the environment
