What kind of songs will soothe you?

I like Oldies mostly and no jazzy stuff just soft melodious soothing music. I like the sound of water flowing in the river too and I have realised it helps me to meditate too. I have been looking for a good meditation music but they lak that sound which I look for, If you come across some good meditation music I would love to check it out.

im into oldies songs, from the 80's!!i love earosmith, scorpions, whitelions, firehouse, and all that, i really enjoy there songs and it keeps me rockin all the time, and they have great music and same time timeless.

Hi Nhey, I enjoy listening to songs when surfing net, reading or doing house chores. I feel easy and pleasant when listening to gay melodies at the same time. It is quite convenient to have songs on air 24 hours after turning on the radio broadcast. I love all kinds of melodious songs. No matter they are oldies, modern songs or classic songs. I mostly listen to English, Chinese and Cantonese songs. Both Celine Dion and Gwen Stefani are my favorite singers. Happy posting and take care.

I like the popular music in my country,especially the emotional songs,though sometimes it makes me feel sad,but for me I think it is also one kind of beauty to feel sad and get hurt by the girl I love,Some songs just push me in the mood of thinking the good old days I have been with her before.

Hi Nhey, I always love to hear melody songs. My work schedule will be always much busy with customers and for my relaxation, i always hear melody songs. Melodies cool me highly and relieve all my tensions. Mostly i hear melodies of my regional language which is tamil. other than that, i hear last christmas, where do you go? songs atleast 5 times a day and i often hear some selected songs of usher & eminem.

I love listening to Christmas carols or even the songs from the 40's to 50's like frank santra and Ella. Sometime religious music helps me.

Hello Nhey16, If I want to listen to songs that can soothe me while relaxing my mind, I will choose Demi Roussos or Josh Groban. Sometimes I love to listen to Kitaro too.

Well, I do love music. I even bought myself a good sound surround system to enjoy. But basically my best choice for relaxation would be classical music. Those that are instrumental most especially with emphasis on violins. I really do not know why, but the moment I hear it, I really feel relaxed.

i like sofe jazz any sort music that helps me to relax i do like reggae a lot but so much as to use it to relax.

Songs by Mayday Parade. They're loud but I like the rhythm for some reason, it helps me relax. Come to think about it, that's a pretty weird choice I guess. But I have a hard time doing other things while listening to them because I tend to listen the lyrics and end up listening more than working. Thanks for the comment on my discussion!

When I really need peace and quiet then Il Divo. But other times I like anykind of music I can sing to lol I cant stand the music I cant understand what they are saying and I cant sing to them :))

Any soft rock music calms me down (example would be Hey There Delilah). I don't mind the harder stuff much either as long as they have cool solos.=P Listening to an amazing guitar keeps my mind away from any troubles I may have. No idea why. xD

I see you're an Enya fan too. I just love listening to her music, and most celtic or new age types as well. I also love listening to classical music for relaxation. When I'm in the opposite mood and want something upbeat though, and listen lots of times while cleaning, I'll listen to rock music..like Coldplay

Depends on what has happened so sometimes it will be light music, others really rock music to soothe me and to calm me down

when i wanna relax by listening to music, i play Sitti's songs bossanova is really calming. Sometimes i even listen to rock songs to keep me relax
