The stars with the number in it represent you reputation on MyLot. every time you receive a + or - for one of your posts or photos, you reputation goes up or down. So, the better you comments, the higher your star number will be :) Also, the FAQs say that it is factored into how much you earn here.

when you reach the 100th post you will get a star. that star 10 is the highest is your rating star. it can reach one step higher as you post or sometimes lower. if you will put your cursewon the star you will see a rate and how popular you are on mylot. the stars comes up if a myloter rates you + (that means positive) and the star will go down if a mylotter rates you - (negative). congrats with you star and goodluck with your myloting
