I knew it would happen - predicted it while back in a post and have mentioned it several times in others! No surprise anyway - Isn't Paul the only male in town that Niki hasn't been married to - or at least "seriously" involved? I mean, between her and Jack - the marriages are going double digit! Pretty gross actually - I know it is a soap but to have them constantly marry and divorce and marry everyone else in town!

Yeah , my mom and me were waiting and knew it was coming too LOL. funny thing is i thought it would just be a kiss and i didnt think they would be in bed that fast , but hey its a soap and anyway they have known one another for like 30 years and have before anyway hehe.

And think about it - it is really a rather stupid match up. I mean, they are the only 2 "single" people in GC and since no woman can be on her own for any length of time in that city.....
I think they are just grasping at straws and making a stupid storyline out of a nice "past". The 2 just absolutely don't match up together!

Paul has had quite a few too,I was just hoping that Nikki would stay away from men for awhile and find out who she really is,but I guess she is sort of like Sharon cant live wtihout a man.Thanks for your response and have a great night.

I wasn't always a fan of the show but my mom got me hooked. In regards to Paul and Nikki I saw it coming a long time ago but it just feels extremely wierd to me. I think they should have stayed friends and nothing more. Nikki belongs with Victor in my opinion

I am not sure about Nikki belonging to Victor but as soon as he finds out that she is seeing Paul he will coming running,my thought is that Victor dont want her but he dont want anyone else to have her either.Thanks for the response and have a great night.

I just think that they're the couple that no matter what happens, all the back and forth and other people, they're going to end up together in the end. I mean how many times have they been married and divorced and married again. I think thats what the writers have in store for them, a reconciliation somewhere in the future

It has been clear that was where they were headed. But I tend to think that Paul is too good for Nikki. In answer to the above about why watch it, I started because it was the only clear channel on the TV where my workout equipment is at the right time and the workout seems to go faster when watching TV. Now I also watch it because I really like Amelia Heinle who plays Victoria.

I agree with you on Paul being to good for Nikki and I thought I was the only one that worked out while watching a soap opera

My mom and gram got me into the young and the restless and now I am hooked on the show and so is my fiance 
They have been friends all their lives and have dated before . He has been there for her and I think he truly loves her and will be good for her . They kinda have a second chance now . right now i bet she dont ever see herself being with victor again after the way hes been lashing out at her . Now she has a good man in her life now but some would say safe maybe , but i think a lover is friendship set on fire !

She won't be able to stay at Paul's "less than Newman" status! He isn't into the high and might companys and all that. SHe'll get bored just being the wife of a common PI.
And why do they have to hook her up anyway? Cant these soaps have just one woman that can make life on her own! Do they all have to be married (and divorced and married and divorced..)and be dependant on a husband. Not knocking husbands, but still - what ever happened to "I am woman!". They portray woman as mindless ninnies!

Well your are right about feelings Paul has for Nikki and he is good man,lets just hope that Nikki dont ruin there friendship because she will never quit loving Victor,he has been mean to her before when they were divorced just to marry him for the second time,I think that a lover is friendship set on fire too but it can end up with not being friends just as well,thanks for responding and have a great night.

What do you see in this show? I really don't like it. I think it's boring and not realistic at all. When I watch it, I just think "That's stupid. That's stupid. Ugh"
Why do you like it? I'm not trying to come on here and just be rude to you. I really want to know why you care so much about what happens in this show.
