How do you make a lot of friends in just a day?

I just resumed college after 6 years of "hibernation" (so that would put me about 24 years old now)and students now are somewhat different to handle with compared to my time. Any advices from both clans?

Just be yourself. I know it's corny, but many mature students will probably want to get to know you if they just see what kind of person you are. Best of luck in college! My mom's 52 and she is back at college and she has friends. If she can do it, you definitely can! ~Jesus loves you and I do too!~

Inspiring! Most of my classmates are 17-year-olds and all they care about is online games. Perhaps, I should get involved with what's keeping them hooked (nowadays) all the time at school so I could get along. Thanks!
