T.V. versus Radio which one would you like to choose?

I prefer both.. When i was at home, i prefer the TV, to watch and also when ever i used to travel, i like the redio, because we can hear the music even when we travel through Radio. When ever i am working in system also, at home, if i don't want to distrub the others i used to hear the Radio by my headset. Radio will help us to hear the music without distrubing others.. Televisions will help us to watch with with all our family members.. but both are very much required and preferred to the people like me.. because when i go to college i used to hear the Radio in the Bus, because it will take a minimum of 40 minutes travel from my home to college.. And also during any of the holiday and any functions, all the televisions channels will give some good programmes, so, we used to watch that too by sitting at our home with all our family members. Either radio or television is a different media, but if i must choose, i prefer to radio, why because it's use less energy,a lot of information, beside the radio generate less radiation than television, and more compact.

I would still choose TV because my Tv has radio in it too so if i did not want to watch TV then i can put on the radio part and do my work and when i want to watch TV then i could put it on.I am fortunate to have both the devil and the deep sea ,a choice not available to many.This is because i have a set top box which connects my cable Tv to the satellite and enables me to have best of both worlds.Ain`t i lucky?Besides if i had only radio and i wanted to watch TV i would be forced to go to some neighbour`s house and they may not like it.

Hi Margarit! I would choose TV, because I can also listen to the music from there, in MTV, lol. I have some few favourite shows that I watch everyday. Actually if you ask me this few years ago, I will definitely choose radio as don't normally watch anything in TV before. Thanks!

well i like both of them and i ill listen to radio and i ill watch T.V too.....when i am sleeping i ill listen to the radio in radio i ill listen the old and melody music and in day time i ill watch T.v...i T.V also i ill watch the videos and movies..mostly i ill watch movies......

as Tv is immovable we have to watch it between four walls, where as radio can be listened even while travelling and working. When we watch TV we cannot concentrate on other works. so radio got lots of advantages.

I am about the same way. If I have other things I need to concentrate on, I will usually go for the radio or some other source of music. I tend to get lazy and pre-occupied when I turn on the TV...

I think that I would also be one to pick the radio as you can listen to music and also to shows from time to time, such as sports. I'm not sure of any other shows but they do have comical bits on radio.

My Dear Friend I will choose TV instead of radio. Because TV is an audio visual device and where as radio is merely an audio device. So I think TV is far better than radio to me . Thanks For raising such a good discussion.....! Happy Mylotting ! Take Care ! Ganesh !

for me i would tv, because in tv i can see what they are talking about and it would be more realistic.

Radio has become all but extinct with the advent of the TV, but it is a good companion. it can be very handy if yo are on the move. it can keep you entertained. I still remember the programmes which used to be popular in teh 60s and 70s. A radio was a must an dit gave you a lot of entertaining moments.

That's easy for me it would be the radio as well. I cant go anywhere with out music. T.V. just dont do much for me would trade T.V. any day for radio.

hmm, a hard a question, can I have both? hmmm, I think I'll choose TV, since I think it's more entertaining and can do lots with it than the radio. I like listening to music too, but I think I can do that as well in TV and also by having it, I can watch movies or any TV programs too. So, I'll choose TV but it would be much better if I can have both.

I think it will be the television set, I feel empty without watching some tv. I listen to the radio at work and when I am driving which is sure makes me company. However I will not sleep without seeing some television :)
