what place in philippine you prepare not to vist?

i think mindanao the place where the abusayaff and MNLF live. i don't want to be abducted because i don't have money to pay for the ransom.lol

Same here, I don't ever wanna go to Mindanao. I'm really scared of that place. Feels like I'm going to die when I go there.

I don't like Metro Manila, especially the main MAnila City. The traffic is unbearable for me and also the noise and air polution. I was in Quezon City for five years but I have been to MAnila only 5 times. I don't fear going to Mindanao, actually, its one of the my dream places that I want to visit soon. The not-so-peaceful places could be easily avoided but I wanna expore the area's mountain ranges too. I am not a high-profile person and the terrorists won't get anything from me anyway.

Like them I don't want to go to Mindanao in Basilan in particular. Aside from Mindanao I also don't want to go to Siquijor ngiii they said there's a lot of witches there. I don't know if it's true but I'd rather not go there.

First of all, I "prepare" my luggage of clothes when travelling anywhere in the Philippines. But I "prefer" not to go to the extreme south of Mindanao (e.g. Sulu or Tawi Tawi) for "obvious" reasons. All other areas in Mindanao are as safe as other places in Luzon or in Visayas. Actually, many places in Mindanao (e.g. Davao, Bukidnon, Cagayan de Oro, etc.) are very beautiful and can rival other scenic places in the country. A lot of people (even fellow Filipinos) have this wrong impression that the whole Mindanao is in conflict, which is actually not.

almost all filipinos would not want to go to basilan and places where there are abusayaf, just for our own safety why risk our life to go there.

I'd rather not visit some Mindanao provinces especially Cotabato because of the conflicts going on there. I am afraid because of the different attacks made in that area. I don't want to take the risk.
