cracking the software

What do u think about cracking of any nice software? One made the great affort for making or creation of that application softwaer, but somebody make changes in the EXE or DLL file and hole his affords goes to loss? What one should do for preventiong the same? what precotion one need to take? Please healp me !!!!!!

1. Make the software cheapers .. give priority to support for your consumer, so people would like to buy the original software because they want the support. 2. Build a good algorythm 3. Buy and use a good exe packer
