Did you know that 12 new born babies are given to the wrong parents everyday? That one in every eight children.(thats a world statics not just USA or the third would countries). its happed in New Zealand and was all over the news.
How would the parents know that a mistake has been made? When is it too late to get your own baby back? I am sure that all parents wants their childern back but would you give away the one that you have brought up and loved? Also imagine the drama it would cause if someone requested a DNA test...they would think that the mother had an affair or slept around to much to notice.

The possibility of exchange of new born babies among mothers can not be ruled out when nursing staff and medical attendants either intentionally or inadvertently commit such mistake. As the mother sometimes remains in a stressful mental state during the period of delivery, she may not be able to remain vigilant over the incident that happens there due to careless and evil motives of the nursing attendants. If the parents and others remain fully vigilant, such undesirable situation can be avoided. Thanks.

How this could happen? I know that nowadays they put your child on you whaen he's born, and do not separate the mom from him, so if mummy saw her child, how is it possible to give her another one?

yes that is true... but mistakes do happen and mother and child do get seperted. As soon as the babies are born the nurses take thm away to get them cleaned and sometimes there are complications and the dosvtores have to take the mothers away for a while and sometimes the mothers are too tired to notice that the babies have been changed. Mostly this happens when the babies or the mother have the same or simalar first or last names. Thats why there are number systems plaved in hospitals but when there is humans involved thn mistakes happen. Esp when the nurses and the doctors like to use names instead of calling people by a certain number.
