recommend some comedy movies!

In my opinion, if you want good comedy - you have to go back about 20 years or more! The comedy of today is pathetic. Long Long Trailer (Lucille Ball and Desi Arnaz (my favorite movie of all time!) Yours, Mine and Ours Lucille ball and Henry Fonda WIth Six you get Egg ROll - DOris day Cheaper by the Dozen - the original one about the Galibraithes, not the one with Steve martin - that was totally stupid! Most of the Doris Day ones were good comedy Pretty much anything with Jerry Lewis in it - Errand Boy, Cinderfella, The DIsorderly Orderly They don't make comedy like they used to. Even the sitcoms are not funny these days like they used to be. PRobably why they don't stay on the air for to many season. But definately - if you want comedy - good clean funny side splitting laughing comedy - go back to the 70's and prior - If I had to choose a decade, I'd say the 60's had the best comedys

A few good comedy movies that ive seen latley are get smart which was hillarious and I reccomend it to everyone it was just so funny and I think that most people will like that movie as much as I did which I didnt really think it would be that good but loved it after I saw it. And Tropic Thunder mainly because of Tom cruise and robert downey jr who really made the movie and just to see tom cruise dance was well worth it.

I'd recommend any movies with Adam Sandler, he's very funny and he has a special talent for comedy movies :)

A really good movie I have seen which has really typical british humour in it is "Keeping mum"...it's about a housekeeper who comes to stay with a family and sorts out all their problems but in order to do so she does things in a very macabre way. It's absolutely brilliant and features lots of wellknown actors and actresses including Patrick Swayze. The humours clever and subtle so if you really want to get your teeth into something typically English you really have to see this film. You'll be laughing from beginning to end.

For now i can only think of 2 really great comedies ..home alone 1 and the money pit with Tom Hunks..Happy watching.... (: ...dont forget to feedback
