Bordeaux to surprise Chelsea?

Chelsea travel to France tonight to play Bordeaux in the Champions League. Chelsea know that a win tonight would put them through to the next round of the competition. A win for Bordeaux would also put them in pole position to qualify. Chelsea will have Drogba available as his suspension only applies to domestic games but Deco will be missing after being sent off against Roma. On paper this game would appear to be a no-brainer- a Chelsea win but as we all know football is a crazy game sometimes and the breaks can go against you at times. However I dont think that will be the case tonight and I reckon at worst Chelsea will get a draw and then will qualify by beating Cluj at home in their last game.

i dun think chelsea will lose this one and at most bordeaux can get is a draw. a win is difficult considering that chelsea defence is solid while bordeaux attacks isnt deadly or fantastic. i think chelsea have more chances of winning and they would want to seal qualification earlier to concentrate on the league. i would go for chelsea win 50%, draw 35% and bordeaux win 15%

I have to agree that a Chelsea win is the most likely scenerio in this game. However Chelsea's defence is not as strong as it can be as they have a number of defenders injured at the minute. I must admit I am not very sure if Bordeaux are playing well at the moment or not in the French League so it is hard to guage how good a chance they will have.

yeah, i can't agree with u more...chelsea has lost 1-3 to Roma last round and the blues definetely needs a big win to qualify for the next...i'm glad for Drogba's return..chelsea cannot get through the competition without him..it's pity for Deco's missing though i think Ballack will replace him this time...Hope Chlesea get a big win tonight...
