Just curious about how other people deal with rudeness of other people. Do you ignore it, or respond in a like manner?

Some people come off rude when their really not trying to be or they are just negative about almost everything. The best thing is to ignore them or you will go down to their level which is what they want.

1) Try to ignore them
2) Laugh in their faces, rude people will loose all power over you if you make them feel self-concious
3) Say whatever in the way that Hyde does it in the tv show "That 70's Show" when he/she's rude to u

I try to ingor things like farting or giggle.
In a conversation i tend to mention it gently later and would try not to be rude back, although some people do not know when they have gone too far and then I am likely to tell them exactly what I think, which may not be nice.

It depends on degree of rudeness. Sometimes, those people are worth same reaction. I think I have a right to react exactly the same as their action.
