Have you ever experienced a moment of immense pride?

I do not mean the pride you may have felt at graduating, getting married, having children, children's achievements etc. I mean YOU. Whe did you feel proud of an accomplishment that you can vividly remember. For me, it was having my first short story published in a sunday Newspaper. I kept looking at my name printed in the paper and the fact that the story was good enough to be published was of immense amazement for me. I still have the original copies of the newspapers that published my stories and when I occasionaly look at them, I can still feel pride in this accomplishment. How about you? What has given you perssoanlly this feeling of pride?
