To me, the advantage would be that I will updated by the company's on-goings and since the economy is bad in the US, and I work for a US company, it's really good to know what is going on, especially if the company is downsizing. That would be one of the scariest thing and it would prompt me to start looking for jobs!! I guess the disadvantages of it is that it's not really company news for my country. And it sometimes makes my outlook slow. And further more, my manager at times have the knack of forwarding all company emails to all of us. Just in case we do not want to read it, he's reminding us to read it and read it again.. urgh..
