I know I will need a job by the first of the year,,Come on now this is a bit too much for the ol' gal. This is an email that I got.
POLICE OFFICERS NEEDED.....Have you ever thought of becoming a POLICE OFFICER?
You think that you are the type? Do you think that you have what it
takes to become a police officer? Do you feel that you have a need to
serve the public trust and to protect others?
What do you think?
Should I go for it?
Would you like to be a police officer?
May I have your license and registration please?

Go for it! If I were much younger I might think about it myself, although I know I'd never make it. Too scrawny

I have been busy elsewhere, I'm afraid. Looks like I am going to have to move after living in this house for fifteen years. Landlady is being a real pain, so I have been looking at houses and apartments and such so that hopefully next month I can move the family to a new place. I'd rather be here on mylot having fun

You never know until you try. Can you go for training? If you do not like it then stop and quit.
I think personally you need to be cut out of this kind of job. I have a few family members in the police and they are good at their job, but I could not see me doing this job. I am very honest, but I am too softwith people. I would feel sorry for people if I handed them a speeding ticket or something.

Hey, go for it. I would not want to be a police officer. That is a dangerous job and some people hate you just because you do wear the uniform and want to harm you and or your family because "you arrested my brother and he is behind bars now" type of thing.

it depends on you and your personality. take one of those personality trait or job tests. it can steer you to the right career if u r honest on it. it analyzes ur skills, personality and preferences in life, and picks jobs that u would fit you.

I think that being a police officer is for certain people, but ha ha thats funny. I thought about it every once and awhile, and then I'm like there is no way that I would be able to do that. Its too dangerous. I don't want to wake up every day wondering if I'll come back home after my shift.

I will most definitely don't like to be a police officer. One of my husband's friends is a police officer and he is very unhappy in his job. He had to go for counseling because he sees terrible things each and every day.
No this is not for me... I do appresiate the people that risk's their lives everyday. But in the end you need to feel comfortable in your job.

No I would not like to be a police officer. I woudl prefer to be a military officer. It is better to be a military man than to be a police man. I prefer teh exciteing and thrilling life that the military has to offer. The police men have more chances of being corrupt and indulging in acts which do not become a honest law abiding citizen. The nexus of police and politicians is bad for the nation. The military is above these petty things.
