I think my husband and I never have a real set date, but we mostly decorate after Thanksgiving. I think this year, I'm going all out and decorating. I have a specific theme and everything. Hubby and I love the beach so we are going to have a beach theme.
What about you when do you decorate and do you do certain themes or you just decorate. I decided to do the theme thing because this will be hubby and I's first Christmas together as being married. Its so exciting.

That does make it feel more homey. I know my mom used to do that when my brother and I were younger she would put up things that we made for Christmas and the new things that we would make every year. I think still she does it now and neither of us is home. I think just a few things though.

We decorate the Friday after Thanksgiving. I have collected different Christmas decorations over the past four years that we have been married. Every year we add a new decoration for the house. As for the tree last year it was in Red and Silver. I will probably do the tree the same this year but add in another color.

We usually decorate the first or second weekend after thanksgiving. I don't really have a theme, christmas i guess lol. We go all out as much as we can since we have kids. I want them to enjoy christmas as much as we did when we were kids.

Yeah I can completely understand that. We never had a theme until this year. We don't have any kids yet, but we have his kids and I want it to look nice for them when they come over.

I think I start decorating the week after Thanksgiving, my house that is, I don't put my tree up till about a week before Christmas. I don't have a special theme really, but we live out in the country and we have an old country house, that looks like a cabin, so we always have a Country Christmas.

Aw I miss living out in the country. That sounds like a great theme. That may be my theme for next year a Country Christmas.
