5 year old poops pants

I've never tried this myself (I don't have any human kids of my own), but I heard leaving them in their pants for an hour or so and refusing to change them will break them of their habbit. Because who wants to be in stinky pants. If you stick to it, they give up. Especially, if they know how to use the potty.

I have a 5 year old as well that does the same thing. I was concerned and took him to the DR. and they told me that boys sometimes have "accidents" for several years. I was taken back by that and told them that my other boy did not have that problem and they told me not to be concerned and just remind him to use the toliet every hour or so. He is almost six now and has no more accidents like that.

hi ! i am not sure why this is i have even sent mine to the doctor and he is fine .they say it s more comon in boys . mine will not go in his pants but he will wait until he gets home from school before he goes so that mom will wipe for him . he is the same age as yours and i have two others the same age and they do fine.if you find the secret just let me know.
