The image of Jesus, the image of Mary, the images of various local/regional/global saints are continuously transactioned throgh commercial stores located inside of most Roman Catholic/Orthodox Churches, Basilics, Cathedrals, etc. Millions of religious artefacts, books (which supposingly are meant to lighten us in order to understand the gift of God), blessed religious jewelry, etc are sold/bought each day through the business network of the Christian Church. Judas the Iscariot was condemned for selling Jesus for 30 pieces of silver (Matthew 26:14). The Christian Church transactions God on the Christian spiritual-market for millions pieces of silver/day, worldwide.

True. I would love to see Jesus come back and like he did in the temple, go and over turn the 'money changers' in todays church who have sold out God for gold and silver.

Hi khayam, The Christian Church as we know it today does not follow the teachings of Christ. They do not all sell images, but the message of Christ has been corrupted so much that it would not be recognized by Jesus. Christ taught a way of life and there are some Christians who try to follow it, but you will hear little of them. Blessings.

They are probably using the earnings for the up keep of the Churches. Well they better be and not using it to line pockets with. I really think this money will go back into the churches though.
