for me I've actually only owned 3 computers but there have been many of them in my life.
Also how long have you had your current one?
for me my current one is over 3 years old but I've had it for almost 2 years. ^^

Computers that were personally mine: 2.
First was a desktop PC that I used in college - I needed one for myself because I was studying away from home. Then on my final year in college, my dad bought me a laptop and that's what I'm still using right now. It's pretty sturdy (Toshiba) even though it's already out dated. I don't even have dual core.
Thanks for the response on my discussion!

I've only owned one computer in my whole life and it's the one that I'm typing on right now. It is an HP Pavillion dv6000 laptop and it works well. I've had it now for about 2 years. Fortunately it has paid for itself with all the money-making programs I'm involved in on the Internet LOL... Owning my own computer is one of the best investments that I have ever made

Interesting question. Like you, if I count only the ones I have actually owned, I have had 4 computers so far in my life. However, I have a computer that is mine through work, I have had computers at every job I have had for the past 10 years, and I have had small, portable, computer-like devices such as Ipods, a Blackberry and so forth that could be considered a computer of some sort. I suppose by definition I have had 4, but it seems like a whole lot more.
