How do you know if you go to heaven when you die?

I am curious my father had passed away last august and how do yu know if he went to heaven? Is it really a place you go to when you die? or Is it just a myth to not worry you?

My father passed away 11 years ago,from my side view, there is no such place like that. This place, heaven, hell, eden or similar. It's exist because human mind think may be there some place that no one suffer, no pain, life forever, and joyfull everyday.It's all in our mind. People do any thing that their religion tell them to do kill other people u can live in heaven, or not harm people just like that. Heaven is a myth? Beside if someone die all of his memories will die too.
