Offering thanks inspires us to make our lives an offering to Almighty God who has created a beautiful world with diverse natural things and phenomena. The wise persons are aware that the blessings we have received from Him are infinite. We do celebrate this auspicious day with great spirit and excitement. The spirit of thanks giving should infuse in every one's life with constant remembrance of His infinite mercy on us. Thanks.

My family is hopefully unique in someway. We truly spend most of the day cooking and preparing for the rest of my family to come over for the great Thanksgiving dinner. Our meal usually starts off when everybody arrives, which could mean on some years over 20 people. However, this year it will only be a mere 8 people. We say grace regardless of your religion because it is just tradition (I personally am atheistic). After grace we dig into our four course meals haha. I usually have heaps of candied yams, turkey, and pumpkin pie. One unique thing I thin we do is how we eat all of our food at once, there is no designated time for dessert or appetizers. After we are all bloated from the immense amount of food we inhale, we usually relax, talk, or play board games. It is nice to catch up with family that we hardly see during the year, even if it is for one night. I wish you all a happy Turkeyday.
