What do you think is essential for a blog to contain to be successful?

It's all about delivering timely content and intelligent content. The technicalities of a blog are important and should be known but if you cannot produce consistent quality value through your words then a blog will not be successful.

I think it's more about how you get your niche. One of the top earning blogs is CAN I HAZ CHEEZEBURGER which features the LOL CATS right? They became popular because of the cute and hilarious portrayals of cats. I think it's something about doing something that no body else has done before, catching the people's attention and making sure they tell everybody else about you :) Thanks for commenting in my discussion!
