Govt is a total failure on intelligence, no doubt about it. I really don’t know what the agenda of the UPA govt is, but one of its biggest failures has to be on terrorism. Its only in the last few years that I am seeing these people striking Indian cities at will. No matter how much Shivraj Patil rants on TV and how much Manmohan Singh fumes or Sonia Gandhi resolves, it’s the abject apathy of the govt that matters have come to such a point where it seems the common people can no longer roam freely in their own country. Worse is like wild mushrooms, organizations with Islamic names are springing up everywhere, not only putting the security of the nation in peril but also giving bad name and image to the Indian Muslim community.

I dont know what's next.Terrorists roam about freely amongst us.Failure is and understatement.Things are going from bad to worse.I really dont know what the DESHMUKH government is going to do about it.Will they or they wont even that.thats also doubtful.all we can do is hope for the best, pray for our safety and for those who have lost their lives in the attack last night.

I think the government and intelligence agencies should be more active against terrorists and they should use the most resent technology to defend terrorism.
I strongly hate terrorists and anti social elements.I don't know, what they get by killing so many innocent people. If they won't get punishment here in this world, I am sure they will be punished on the day of judgment.

This will continue till the cowards are let known that they are not dealing with a country which is very very happy with empty words, inept outdated selfish politicians
and people who always think that things this bad can only happen to others and gleefully indulge watching the operations on TV like a action movie.Time has come for everyone in this country to become more responsible and orderly.

Terrorism has a multifaceted cruel clutches that is ever extrapolating in to the society, eliminating the pragmatic peace from the world.
It can't be eliminated from the world..until Man is selfish, and greedy.
Only self discipline and love will restore peace and tranquility to the world, but in comparison of it with today's circumstances, it is clearly evident that Man has distanced a long way from Love and Peace.
Take care Subha.

i am a mumbaite, and the situation here is worst, the minds people have been blocked by these kind of incidences time and again and inspite of these things happening one has to leave ones family and house to go to work as its not possible to be scared and stay back home.. the place this situattion has arrived is commercial hub, there are thousands of people working in that area it would be difficult to accept things like this and getting back to the normal stage..

it is such a bad thing that innocent people are killed. whatever may be the reason i don't like people being killed. now-a-days it has become a common thing that terrorist activities take place in every country.
i don't know what these intelligence bureau people are doing. i wish that they take things a bit more seriously in searching and stopping such activities before they occur.
hope to soon see a world with peace an happiness rather than bloodshed and atrocities.

Its so sad to see all those people who lost their life in Mumbai for no cause.I see many people blaming the government for not taking any measures that could have forestalled this terror attack. If the government have failed to take steps initially atleast some people should have voluntarily moved to help the people who where suffering.Dying without any cause is fruitless atleast if someone has lost his life in trying to save a few people its honorable.People should work unitedly so that we can save mankind from this inhumane terrorist.God Bless All

Terrorism is the cruel element in society. These terrorists have no hearts. What only we can do is to remain alert. We are one nation India-no one can harm us.

I hate this government. They are good to issue statements against terror/inflation. But they are worth of nothing. The mumbai people feel "If you can't protect, then Quit!" Let someone else capable to save to save us. Now a days mumbai is getting attacked like a scheduled event for every quarter what the hell is going on?? nobody knows. But one thing is clear India emerging as a prime target for evil and terror. I prey god that this country should be come a Iraq/Afghanistan.

This is most bizarre, obnoxious, gross and sad!
Why o earth so much violence, animosity, blood sheds? This is not the solution. Violence has permanent negative damage that is irreversible. I felt so sad after the incident and the recent series on incidents worldwide.
When will this stop?
Peace and love.

Terrorism is one of the worst thing in the world. I think Government should try to stop terrorism by taking adequate measures in the future. One of the way is to put cameras in all major railway stations, bus stations, major roads, big hotels and control rooms should have access to these cameras. I don't know what terrorist gain by destroying themself and lives of innocent people.

This is very worst thing.I am not able to know why in a big country like india small number are terrorists are able to kill big police officers. Why the police are not provided with superior weaponry. How are terrorists easily getting able to come to India and create havoc?.I don't know what they will gain by killing innocent people.

Hi Subha,
Many people killed in the attack and I don't understand what they achieve by killing innocent peoples. Authorities are alert only when cruel things happen and after a while they are just forgetting the same and not showing any interest in taking proper steps to avoid these kinds of incidents. Now there are several incidents happened. Terrorists are attacking different places all over the country. Will they able to take proper methods to avoid terrorism in future. We can only pray/wish for the same.

Yhis is the first thing I heard when I woke up today, and I must admit I did not enjoy my wake up call even one bit....I am filled with anger and hatred towards these people who are targetting innocent people, and not even sparing children.......Its a demeaning and brutal thing to do.....So many top police officials were also killed and I do not know if this is due to intelligence failure or their sincerity in their work......Any way may their souls rest in peace........
