I been black friday shopping the last few years and haven't really had any problems other than having to listen to people complain. However, i have heard some horror stories. Pushing and shoving, people taking things out of others carts, and even fist fights breaking out. My mom actually works in a store and the last few years has had to work on black friday. Most of her co workers complain about having to work it, but she enjoys it. She has actually seen fights break out over items. She has been shoved around while bringing out sale items, but each year she works it. So have you seen or been in fights over items, or seen other outrageous behavior out people?? I have just had people angry with me because i get to story's way earlier and always get what i went for, and people can make some nasty comments.

I have been involved in a lot of pushing and shoving scenarios. Where we go there is never a line so we just kind of place ourselves next to the things that we're looking to buy. People are rather nice until the rope drops and then all hell breaks lose. You tend to get pushed quite a bit, at least I have when I'm trying to get to the item that I'm looking for. One year I know these portable DVD players went rather fast and my mother managed to get ahold of one. A woman walking by her cart made a comment that at least she got to keep hers because according to her, someone walked by her cart when she had her back turned and took it right out of the cart and walked away and she had no idea until later. I saw a fight break out of TV's one year as there were only two of them and of course those went fast. So far there hasn't been anything completely terrible that I have witnessed but you never know.

Actually the last I heard it was false that the pregnant woman lost her baby. The woman is just in the hospital for observation to make sure that nothing bad does happen to her or the baby.

I enjoy staying at home on black Friday. I have rather wait for after Christmas shopping than black Friday. I didn't hear any stories, because most of my friends are out of town for Thanksgiving weekend.
