Are You Busy Giving Out Best Responses?

Personally, many of us who are active in here might have this object as a Goal in here we want to always achieve, and the more we can get in here the better. But if you are like many of us who start a lot of New discussions, do you go back in and respond to these to keep these moving, and give out a Best Response to someone else in here as well? I know for me, I am way behind myself in giving Best Responses and keeping my discussions going. I am actually in the process of trying to get more of these done and responding back to others before the end of the month as well. Many here might have even considered not responding here to my discussions in fear you will never hear back from me as well. I am one who does give out Best Responses and respond back to others who post back in my discussions. Just might take me a little longer to do so. And since I also take time to go and respond to one of your discussions as well for you taking time to respond back to one of mine should be a Big plus as well. So have you given out all of your Best Responses to your discussions, or are you like me, and always trying to play catchup here as well? ~~TINA~~

Before whenever I give out responses I do short so that I can do more. Sometimes...I dont even read...I just wrote a few sentence and done. But I saw some mylotters who gave sounds and really from the heart advices. So I wonder whats the difference of just responding for the sake of responding or really giving out really good one. Then I tried it one time...and I think I get more points of doing that. So from now on...I wrote a longer one. And before responding I see to it that I really understand the subject matter. I also rate best to response I thought good and I was also hoping that my respose would be rated. But I dont think so. My goal though in joining mylot is to earn more but since I am new to this just few days, I dont know what is what and how is how. So I am still in the point of learning. And I am hoping though that someday I will be like those who are really doing great in here.

I like to give out best responses, sometimes i go back after a while and do them, sometimes I am on the ball and do them withni a few says. It is so hard sometimes to give out BR's as I get so many good answers to my discy=ussions its hard to choose wh oto give it too. sometimes it would be nice to give two BR's as its hard to decide

That is so True for sure. There are times that it is hard to decide who should get the Best Response but keeping up with giving them out can be the Best thing for sure.

Hi there Tina. At times i face the same problems of not being able to answer immediately to people who need an answer in my discussion but nevertheless i try to respond each and everyone - sooner or later. The one thing i always do in time is give out a best response as that is usually easy (i don't really have 100+ responses to discussion so it can't be that hard).

Well, I do not always have the time to come in here and post or respond back to people like I would like, but trying to as I can, so either people will understand and be patient, or not want to respond to my discussions. But since I do also try to repay the people back as well, it all takes time.

What do you mean? They are asking about you issuing Best Response to your discussions basically. Plain and simple if you read the whole discussion. HAPPY POSTINGS FROM GRANDPA BOB !!~

What I am refering too here, is when you start New discussions, do you go in and respond back to them, and offer a Best Response to someone who you feel gives you the Best answer that would seems to help you the most for you discussion as well?

I do ine twice a month for the most part. I hate having them stock pile as it is harder to do then. I try to add comments to most my responses. But that is not always possible when I get a lot of responses. I try my best to m ake other members happy. I actually had a friend delete me for not adding comments to their responses. HAPPY THANKSGIVING FROM GRANDPA BOB !!~

Well, I was getting a little more caught up here myself, but now I am so busy and have limited time to be in here due to Christmas parties, etc. I have also had people remove me for this as well, and feel that is their choice.

Hi there Krause. I must say that i don't start many discussion on a daily basis, as i mostly prefer to answer to other topic starters and to upload pictures - i only start new topics when i have good ideas and this helps me to keep the lack of best responses to a minimum - at present i only have one discussion that is unresolved, so i am doing well.

Personally I would like to thank you for taking the time to take care of your threads like you should. Unfortunately I have not been such a good host, and I guess that is why I respond to more threads than I create. Anyways Happy Turkeyday. -Undertheoath.

I could never imagine starting as many discussions in here as I create, and I am so far behind in keeping up with the ones I have ever started to even try.

I actually don't know what best responses are. WHile I can take a good gander at this I guess I never knew that was available. WIth that being said I will make sure that every discussion I start I try to pick a best response. I find that with every new topic it does get a bit overwhelming with all the responses. What I try to do is answer all the responses before I go on to a new topic. I always feel the need to respond to those who have taken the time out of their day to respond to my posts. I guess you could call me you for the time being as I've only been here for a day or so and I'm already playing catchup :)

I am trying to give some good responses. My point of view those are best responses. Whatever i knew, giving the details. My view is, whether the response is best or not, response should be relevent. That's it.

I have not given out best response to anyone yet though one person gave it to me. I have taken time to comment to the people who have repsonded in my discussions, after all they were nice enough to participate. I guess when I get a certain amount of responses I will go back and start choosing which are the best ones. This might be difficult to choose just one so I guess I will have to give some thought to some kind of criteria for choosiing the best.

Catchup, most definitely! I try to respond to everyone and love to give out best responses to my discussions but sometimes it just takes so long! I have so many right now that I have to get to. But, if I were to do that and only that until I was completely caught up, I'd probably not be responding to new discussions for at least a week or two, maybe even longer! So, I try to do both at the same time. If I feel overwhelmed by the amount of responses I have yet to read and respond back to, I just stop posting new discussions for awhile. I need to do that right now, actually. One of my more recent discussions has 50 or so responses; one got over 130 not too long ago! I'm STILL trying to respond to all of them! Life has a habit of getting in the way of my myLot time as well. LOL I've been helping poor hubby this past week since he got sick with this cold/flu/infection/whatever thing that's going around, then I caught it! So, that's slowing me down here in myLot. Maybe myLot is just like life... are we ever totally caught up?

It usually takes some time for me to choose the best response in my discussions. I give other people a chance to put their views on my topic. I usually mark the best response in a number of my discussions in a day. I am more busy with trying to earn one.

I really have not done justice to selecting best responses except for few only. I planned to do same in monthly basis. It is hard to decide best responses whet there is only responses posted to a discussion. Frankly speaking some of the postings are really good anyone can gauge that lots of thoughts has been put behind before posting the comment.

I always try to give my best response to all of the topic I involve, including this one. I haven't start any discussion yet, but I have response to amount of discussion. I will select the discussion I think I know how to response, that why I'm so selective when posting my response. BR
