Me and my husband are planning to get married next year. We are planning to make a garden wedding. But, we are not yet decided which date will be the best suitable date for a garden wedding as well as which will be the lucky date for us. What do you guys think the best wedding date for next year?

congratulations! they're song feng shui calendars in the web if you are into those types of things. the main thing is to find a date that you're comfortable with and that most of the people important to you guys can make it. have fun and good luck!

Congrats on your engagement and up coming marriage. I think a suitable time for a garden wedding would have to be May. 'April showers bring may flowers :)' and if it's a garden theme I can bet that the flowers will be in vibrant bloom then. But the best date of all would have to be April 18Th 2009 ;) that's my date so I guess I'm biased to it hahaha. I think for the garden wedding you just have to find out what is best for the theme that you want and what time of the year will the flowers be open and beautiful for you. Every place is different so I'd do some research if you truly want that garden wedding.

Yeah! We are thinking of May as well, but the problem is if we can have vacation from work during that month. Not saying as well that me and my husband are already married in civil. But, that was a secret at first..hehe..

Congratulations on your wedding!! Well, I think many people will pick the date - 090909, as the date is really nice. Also, in Chinese, 9 has the same pronunciation as "forever", so some Chinese believe it's a good day. Hope you'll enjoy the wedding preparation! ^_^

Thanks for the advice! Actually, we are planning to have numbers 7,8 and 9 for our wedding day. That is July 7, 2009. Well, as you said, 9 means forever.

I feel like a garden wedding would be beautiful in the late spring or early summer with all the flowers in bloom. Pick a date that will create the atmosphere that you want. My future husband and I love the fall and are planning a wedding for 09-19-09. It won't be too chilly and the leaves will be changing. We will be having an indoor ceremony and reception though... but pictures will still be nice outdoors. With a garden wedding as your dreams make sure you pick a day where the weather will cooperate! :) Good luck in your marriage and congratulations :)

Thanks! I am pretty excited actually. Today, I called some garden venues and check their rates. I am considering indoor garden so whether it rain or shine the ceremony will go on..hehe..Thanks Again!
