This is a very welcomed discussion. There are two events that have significance perhaps above all others in the life of a christian. The birth and crucifixion of
Jesus Christ. Actally, without Jesus being born, christianity would not exist so christmas reminds us of the love God has for us. He sent His only son for the ultimate sacrifice. That is why christmas is about love and that love is expressed in our giving and our general attitude around this time. It brings out the best in all of us.

South Park put this really nicely...
Stan: Jesus, you have to understand that Santa is keeping the spirit of you birthday alive by bringing happiness and joy.
Kyle: Yeah. And Santa, you have to realize that without Jesus, this day wouldn't even exist.
This was the pilot C-mas episode for South Park.

Hi there!
The true meaning of Christmas for me is remembering the birth of our savior Jesus Christ and thanking God above for giving us His son.
Christmas is also the time for sharing, love and care for everyone. Just like when God shared His son to us.
I remember once we celebrated our family reunion we had a stage play about the Nativity. Everyone kid in the family joined the play and it was fun.
Ciao!

from the word Christmas itself, Christ is the reason why there we celebrate. Because Christ brings hope to all men.hope that there is a way to God, a way to a better life, a way to eternity, that is though Him alone

Christmas is all about sharing the love that God has given and still giving to us. He showed it to us by sending His only begotten son Jesus Christ.Christmas is a season for us to give importance and take time to realize why Jesus Christ was born here on earth. He was born to enlighten our minds the beauty of loving and helping one another. And to show to God our gratitude, we must always follow His son's teaching on us.Christmas is also a perfect time for forgiving those who hurt us and ask forgiveness to those we hurt also. This is my view of Christmas.Happy mylotting!

Christmas is the time to share our yearlong blessings with families and friends.. Look back, recollect all the good things that has happened and be thankful that we survive another year.. No matter how meager our resources, we san say "Merry Christmas" with sincerity and a robust spirit..Most importantly, feel the true spirit of the season, the only reason why we celebrate thi glorious occasion--"GIVE LOVE AND FEEL LOVED".. I'm looking forward to brave the cool dawn and hear morning mass.

Actually, everyone actually forgets that it is the birthday of Baby Jesus. People are just too excited to spend time with their families and have a vacation. We all look forward to not going to work and just party with the people we love, forgetting that the party should be dedicated to Baby Jesus!

Christmas is about the birth of Jesus. It's been materialised alot so it's not hard to imagine people forgetting about what Christmas is all about. It's a nice holiday to share with friends and family and to relax, have fun, and be carefree. Celebrate Life, Celebrate the Birth of Christ.
