i think there r no "tricks" involved other than taking some effort abt it.....first of all try to avoid as much non-veggies as u can n if u simply cant avoid, atleast stick on to chicken, fish n eggs....Beef,pork, mutton etc r complete no-no :).....next try to have home made foods rather than fast food junks n hotel foods....it will be difficult at first...i know it coz i was addicted to those things but i just thought of the end result n i avoided it....n u shud have food only in small quantities....n try to have a fruit fasting for 3 days continouisly every week....When u fruit fast, eat nothing but fruits, as many times as u want, whenever u get hungry for these 3 days n drink water...this way u can really lose all those unwanted fat n toxins from ur body n ur skin will also improve tremendously...it really works, atleast it did for me....if u stick on to all this u will definitely lose weight in a healthy way....i was 70 kgs when i started n now i am 55 kgs within a period of 6 to 8 months....i am not only feeling better but i am also feeling much healthier....n one more thing, dont go back eating all the junk stuff once u lose weight :D....enjoy n stay healthy

Don't eat late at night. Eating late at night can cause you to store more fat in your waist and stomach. Stop eating 3 hours before you go to bed. If you need a snack, eat something healthy like a piece of fruit or a handful of nuts (unsalted). Eat often, but in small portions. The less your body peaks and falls on the blood sugar scale, the less likely it will be to overeat and/or store unwanted fat. Ideally, cut calories, but don’t starve yourself. If you eat the right foods and eat often enough, you won’t find yourself eating huge portions and overeating in general. Eat fats like fish oil, sunflower oil, flax seed oil. Also whole grains, legumes, and vegetables and limiting meats. Ease up on the salt and gassy foods that cause you to bloat.

try to squeeze in ur stomach at all times. it will also improve ur posture. wear lots of black, especially black pants. black is slimming, as well as any other dark color clothing. and exercise and eat healthy to get back into shape. do some yoga and pilates.

While u are learning to eat healthy, and to begin exercise, yes dark colors do help.as well as a shiny well made up face that takes the attention from your bodyto your face. In a pinch(literally) an abdominal binder will help pull in your belly and make u look thin under those dark clothes. They are fairly inexpensive and make your appearance an ilusion of slimness, good luck!

Try light hose for shapelier-looking legs..horizontal stripes(blouses or shirts) and choose heavier fabrics that reflects light, like a shiny satin.

It took me a moment to find this, I had come across it while checking my email on AOL one day but perhaps it might help? http://www.stylelist.com/blog/category/flatter-your-figure/ And I do know that darker colors tend to help as well :)
