what's the best way to get one's attention?

Ok, it is like this, I have been in a review class for more than a month now. And I have interacted with different guys and girls from different nursing schools.
The other day, as I was observing the class before the review proper, I have noticed that a number of them are actually flirting. So, I was reflecting, I realized that perhaps one of them or two them will eventually be couples.
So, what the best way to flirt? and how effective is flirting?

geeting attention..thats remind me smthing a guy in my batch was wearing a thick woolen coat in mid summer...we all were sweating..and i was so intersted to knw the reason why was he wearing that..i went to him..he said..i just want to get attention as i get yours...
