Hi,
I am curios to know whether there are people buying shoes online? I think that buying shoes online is not practical because the size of the shoes might not fit our size.
I never buy shoes online. Normally, I only buy books. Do you buy shoes online?

Yes, I have bought shoes online before with no problems. But what I do is go to the shoe store and try on the shoes first. Then I write down the style number, size, color, etc. Then I go home and comparison shop online to find the best price and the site that I can get my shopping rewards through. On top of all that I get no sales tax and free shipping!!!
One time I got my husband some Sperry Top Sider shoes that he wanted and they were like $100 at the department store he wanted to get them at. When I looked around online I got the exact same pair of shoes, brand new for about $52.00!
I get a rush out of getting good bargains and I know that when I save money like this then I can afford to buy other things that we want or need!
Have a great day and happy myLotting!!!

Yes, we do the same thing as you Schulzie. We try on the shoes in the store and then go home and research them. You can save so much money by doing it that way. I don't know, but I don't think a lot of people do it this way. But you can save a lot of money doing it online.

i have been VERY tempted to buy shoes online. but have never actually gone through with it. i have to be able to try the shoes on. depending on the brand and style of the shoes, i can wear anything from an 8 to a size 9. so the chances of the pair i order not fitting correctly are pretty good. and considering the shipping and handling prices to order online and the risk of them not fitting, its just far easier and cost effective to go to a shoe store here in town somewhere.

Hi,
I never plan to buy shoes online. Only few minutes ago, I learn a method to buy shoes online without having problem of wrong size.
The idea is simple. We go to the shop to try the shoes we want to buy and then remember the size and the brand of the shoes. then, we can search for it online and buy it if online is offering lower price.

I have bought shoes online and have gotten some really good deals. But a couple times you're right, they didn't fit... so I resold them and didn't lose a penny. A couple times I made a little profit

It will be funny if you bought shoes that totally do not fit and you cannot take them back because then you will have to spend another money for that, it would be funny and yet sad for you knowing that you just lost or wasted your money
You may also sell them but i think still you will loose because no one would want to buy shoes from someone else at store price, so you will have to reduce the price.
I never buy anything online, what i do is that i find stores where i can find whatever I'm looking for, compare prices and when i would personally go to the store knowing how much will that thing cost and which store to go to.
That's funny

It's not worth the risk. As you highlighted, the possibility of having the shoes not fit is there. You need to consider that different countries have different feet measurements and even the slightest difference could end up having you a too-loose-or-too-tight pair of shoes. Even if they have a return policy for cases like these, its still better to just head on over to a store, and try one out yourself. Saves yo from the hassle of having to wait days and days.
Now, buying books online. That's a cause I can get behind.

I have not tried it so far and I think will not be doing it later on. It would be difficult to know it the shoe will really fit considering that we cannot try it on. Of course when it arrives, you can always have it fitted and have it change but this would be a hassle already.

I wouldn't buy shoes online. I find it hard to know if they would fit or how they would feel when I walked. Not every shoe that looks cute are comfortable or anything. I generally just buy books online.

No, because like what you said, the size might be problem. I want the right fitting when I will buy shoes and also the color and design. It might be different int the picture. I never experience buying shoes online because I really don't like to do it.

Hi, sdas86. You are right. I have never bought shoes online, i just dare not. Even in real life, it's difficult to find a suitable shoes for myself , so i won't risk and perhaps in the end will waste the money. But there are still many people who buy shoes online, i don't know how they make it, is everytime the shoes fit their feet?

I bought a pair of shoes online from Kohl's website last year. I was satisfied with the product, it looked the same as what it looked like at the store's website and all the descriptions were accurate. For me, it won't matter even I buy a pair of shoes online, as anyway I could return it just in case it won't fit me or get disappointed. Many online stores allow their customers to return the products if they're not satisfied and will refund them the payment. As long as the store provides a broad description of the shoes such as the actual size, color and a clear photo of it, this does not have much difference from buying it from the actual stores. One important thing to consider when buying shoes or any product online is about the store's return and refund policy. Always read first the store's policy when buying online. Almost every stuff now can be bought online and this way of purchasing is becoming more and more popular. The internet has done a lot of advantages in improving the sales in many different businesses, as well as convenience for us, customers. Buying online can save us lot of time. Big stores such as Wal-Mart, Kohl's, JCPenny, Target, Home Depot, Macy's, Rite-Aid, etc. are also making their products available for online purchases because they know that online purchasing works well and there are customers who just prefer to buy online rather than coming to their offline stores.

Actually shoes are one thing I once bought a lot of on line. I knew that ColeHaan size 8 1/2 A was always a perfect fir so I just looked for whatever I liked in that size. At first it was great and I got a lot of good stuff but then I started buying knock offs (Can't tell from pictures on eBay) and all I could do was throw the shoes away when they arrived. They were really awful quality.

NO definitely not. I agree with what you say about it not fitting our size. When buying something like shoes, it is still best to wear them to see how it fits you.

I don't buy shoes online either because that shoes maybe didn't fit my feet. And some more, not every shoes that fit out size are comfortable. So we need to try out the shoes first before buying it or else, it will be a waste of money. But I think, buying online can be a lot cheaper so if there is a case when you wanted a shoes so bad, you can simply go to the mall and try out the shoes you wanted. After you make sure your size and it is comfortable for you, you can buy the shoes online.

Hello sdas86,
I've bought shoes online before, but just like someone mentioned before, I try them on at a department store first, then find them cheaper online.
I'm surprised more people who have the Internet don't do this...it can save a LOT of money!
Happy MyLotting!
