who are prone to heart attack? men or women?

i had once read in an article that more men are prone to heart attack than women. of course, women do get heart attack, but when compared to men it is less. why is it so?

sorry,I don't know why ,I just know women are more prone to get heart disease than men. Because most women are sentimental, they are easily effected by the the other people and things around them.

I don't agree with you in this regard.I think,women are less prone to heart disease.I had read about it in a medical journal.
Men, specially the bachelors, are more prone to heart diseases. Thats because they are most of the time under pressure and tension,mostly regarding office,payment or property.They also cannot ward off the stress factor easily.
