Accidents cannot be avoided. If ever your house caught fire, which or what are you going to save first? Why?? Computer Refrigerator Clothes Pets Photo Albums Money Can you rank them accordingly. With me, I know money will be a great help when my house caught fire. The next one will be clothes. It is also very important. followed by my computer, since my computer is just new. Next will be refrigator and lastly my photo albums.

Partner, pet, guitar, computer in that order. The rest I can replace with the insurance money. My money is all in an electronic safety box lol, my guitar is 25 years old and part of me forever, the computer contains a large part of my life in its memory banks. The partner and the pet go without saying. Lash

When I was young my dad would always remind us what to do when there is fire. He would always show us where he kept all the important documents. He placed them all in one attache case. Then he would remind us that in case of fire, we should first get that case, then try to get some money and should there still be more time, to get some clothes. He said, things like appliances are easy to replace but important documents like birth certificates, deeds of ownership, passports and other legal documents are not. Now that I am older, I practice the same thing, I have all the important documents in one container, in one spot. I never move it from there, so that when I need to find it immediately, I know where it is.

I have a small caged pet. So I think if I could I would grab her pet carrier and transfer her in, or if not have hubby and I carry her whole cage out. Material stuff is replaceable.

I will save first any member of my family as long as I have strength. If I can save them all I would. I have my safety deposit box or vault that can be left behind. Next, I will save my laptop because all my work and important files are in there. I don't want to start over. And my wallet just in case, to rent a temporary place to stay and buy food.

First I will be saving anybody in there ie; in the house. Because money ,we, can make afterwards, but loss of a loveable person is for ever.

I can't say exactly what I would save in a fire unless it really happened. But thinking about it now first and foremost my children and cat. Thoes things would never be replaced. My memories such as pictures I would try depending on how bad the fire was and where it was in the house. Everyting else to me is replacable, and there are many people who would be able to help with items such as refrigator, or a computer or a t.v. So defintly children, pets, and photo albums.

Hello, rberon1985. If my house caught fire, the first thing I would try to save would be my dog. An alive being that I wouldn't leave behind to suffer in the middle of the fire. I would either die with him or escape with him, so it is not a matter of choosing: I would HAVE to save him if I wanted to stay alive. After saving my dog, I would try to save the computer. I would need to use it and it is way too expensive to leave behind burning. Then I would go for the money. Yeah, if it was a large quantity of money. If not, I would just leave it behind. It is not worthy risking yourself for something like $5, hahaha. Now, if it was a great quantity of money, then it would be worth to go back and try to save it. After that, the photo albums. I do not care too much for pictures, but I would save them. I would leave the refrigerator for last because it would be almost impossible to get out of a burning house carrying a huge refrigerator, don't you think so? Respectfully, Munhozmib.

The only thing i would worry about getting out of the house would be my son,my partner and my dog.The rest are only material things. We can replace those but we can't replace lives.

Of course, any live beings like my daughter hehehe! Next would be my computer because it's my source of income. Our clothes would be next and our important gadgets like cellphones, digicam, mp4, ipod. But if I don't have the time, I would make sure that my daughter is with me and get out of the house. Having to save my daughter first is enough. I don't care with material things. Have a great day!

in my opinion, i will choose money,(if you do keep money in your house LOL), well because aside of being easy to carry, this is a very big help after all, and second is my photo album because i love to scanned my past happenings and we cant go back the past you know, so its good to have a remembrance...and next is my clothes, coz we do changed clothes all the time and next is the heavy one, the computer, the refrigerator and ccome to thinl of it.... what if i carry them first, the heavy things? it will be easy for me to burn and maybe i'll be the first one to die.... what you think? LOL.....

1) Money 2) Pets 3) Computer 4) Photo Albums 5) Clothes 6) Refrigerator With money you could continue to survive and have a place to live after the accident/while your house is being rebuilt. My pets rank a 2 because well, they are my pets. My Computer has many documents and files which have high importance in my life. Photo albums would come next because I do not keep my negatives meaning I would have no proof of my past or the family members whom I had great times with who are now deceased. Clothes would be next because they are my clothes. I have no true fondness for them. The fridge would be last because I could always get a newer one.

Actually we had a house fire that took out the whole upstairs, they declared the house a total loss. Obviously they dont know how supportive and hardworking we are. We had it up and done within a week! Anyways I was the only one home at the time so in that instance it was my dog. The fire spread so fast and they wouldnt let me back in. Before I went out I got the important files and my purse, then they came and got my hard drive. In the instance that someone was at home with me, the obvious is husband and kids would come first. But going by your list, If we had a pet that would be first but we dont. So first would be my Photo Albums, then my computer as it has thousands of pics in it too! Purse (which has the money and important papers in it) hmmm that is all I would really take the chance to get. If I had to rank the other items it would be clothes and then the fridge. I cant imagine trying to get that last one out thou! LOL!

The first thing I would consider getting out of the house is my Dog. Once I'm sure he is saved and sound I would try to get my Computer out ASAP. Then my clothes. Money wouldn't be an issue since I keep most of it in banks. To be quite honest most of the things that I would be able to save would be in my room so I wouldn't need to go anywhere else around the house. My wallet, PC, Dog (Yes my Dog sleeps in my Room on his own bed), pictures and lastly I would try to look for my car keys and my cellphone.

The fist thing that I consider gettin out, would be my family, about a year ago, I was living in San Diego California when a fire accident happened, we got evacuated, seriously you don´t have time to think about electronics and thinks like that: But it´s really important to carry with you any photo I.D. birth certificate and money or credit cards just in case if you can´t come back to your house in the next 24hours. It´s really important to create any emergency plan with your family because your never know when it´s gonna hapen.

if my house caught fire, i first will save my clothes because with those i can continue my life, because the next day i'll need to wear something to go to work and i'll have to work to have money to fix my house.
