hmm..i want to share my bad experience regarding my professor. Actually, he's getting on my nerves,of course all of us needs to be polite to him because he is our professor and he is older than everybody. We need to respect him but i dont think he doesnt need that because I think he doesn't even know the word respect...why would we respect someone like him when actually he also not respecting us? He is our professor in our english subject..and i think i am beginning to hate that subject because of him..He thinks that he is always right in what he is doing, he is not listening of what we want to say. He thinks that he is a very smart person and always putting us down. He is a perfectionist and it is the one thing that i really hate with him. He always saying that there is no room for mistakes. Is it possible that you will not commit any mistakes?were just student, were not perfect..One time he told us that we are all idiots because no one answered his question. He said that if we find it harder to study in his subject it is better for us to drop his subject or shift to other easier course. All of us hates him because instead of encouraging us to study harder, he is discouraging us. He is a professor, he needs to be a good example or good model for us..isn't he?He is a professor and he must not acting like that, he always hitting us below the belt. He always saying words that can hurt us..of course were just student and those words that he is saying might affect the way we socialize with others and also it can affect our studies. What do you think?do you have a professor like this?

I used to have a professor like that and in fact, she was my english professor too.. she's kind of annoying as she doesn't respect our point of views.. she always thinks she's right, blah blah blah.. but of course as her student, i've got no choice but to accept the fact that i'll see her every other day.. yay! and you what, i've learned to like her because inspite of her not-so-good attitude, she has a soft spot for students... =)

When I was in college, I have undergo so many professors like that.. And I also hate them as much as you hate your professor.. Actually, I really hate going to attend their subject because I don't want to see and hear him and her talking.. At first, they are very nice teacher but as classes go on my god impression to them are getting lost because they already shows their real attitude.. Since, I am a scholar so I need to be present all the time so that i can have a good marks but honestly I really don't like to attend their classes..Well, for me not to hate the subject just because of my professor I always make sure that when every time my professor explaining something I will listen in every words that she and he said so that when he or she will call me then I can answer his and her questions.. But there are some situations that I am not in the good mood to listen to them I just seat at the site of the window and hide from my classmates so that they won't see me and they won't call me for a recitation.. Since, we are just a students we don't have a choice but to accept all of our professors but if they are doing against the rules of the school then you can file a case from that professor or just give some notes to the principal or dean so that the school would know his/her actions inside the classroom.. Even we are just a student, we have the right to speak out what's on our mind.. And besides there would be no teachers if there is no students..

Luckily my faculties have been so sweet to me!! Hmmm.. I know such professors can be really irritating sometimes. From the things that u have mentioned I see one good quality in him,he is a PERFECTIONIST. Don't hate the subject at any cost. Learning is beyond books. Learn few things from him,as u said u try to be a perfectionist. Don't show the hatred u have for him on the subject, that's not justified Even a fool can teach u a lesson. U learn the good qualities from him and see to that u never understimate and ill treat the people who are around u like what he does. He's taught u a lot of things, the DO's and DONT's. So,don't hate him. Just few months or so,he'll go and someone new and better wud go. Who knows after years u mite dedicate ur success this professor who taught u a lot of things and smile to urself. Enjoy ur life dear!! Take care & GOOD LUCK

Hi Grace. It is a bad encounter for you. A professor should be a person who would be able to attain respect from his student. He should be like a parent to guide you correctly. It is clear that his attitude is hurting you and even his virtues will not be noticed by you. I do not know how long you have to go together with this professor for your studies, it is better that an understanding is established so that mutual respects are there. Most probably a third person should mediate between the alleged professor and students like you and may be some more to have the situation more under control and a to prevail a learning atmosphere.
