I definitely love to read and I try to make sure that I read at least a little everyday reguardless of how busy I am. For school I read for maybe an hour each day. But that is because I am not taking that many classes this semester. School textbooks are really hard for me to read because they are boring so I usually end up just skimming the text but I think that is fine because I still get most of the information.
I also really love to read for fun. Mainly fiction books, but lately I have also begun reading a little nonfiction to broaden my horizions. If I am in the middle of a really great book then I can easily read for four or five hours at a time, but finding books like that can be difficult.
I also read a lot online. Sometimes I read books and articles, but I also read a lot here on myLot. Does that count? I think it does because I am constantly learning new things and exercising my brain when I think of responses.

Yaa kkthom3 yu are right enough but i think people if try to read exactly from his or her heart than he/ she can definitely do the strong things in their future.
As learning from heart even for a small time can remain in their mind for a long time.
Isn't it!

I think the people only need 5 hours at most to read everyday. a person's energy is limited , cost too much time on read will make you feel dull .personally , I only spend two hours to read.

Hi agathacoco its nice to here you but i was in sctual tried to find those people that really work hard at their exams.
They read strongly their points of notes to be there at top, when exams come to their head. Really its nothing about how every single student read at their own.
Ok thanks for your comment.

I can honestly say that I never read for 8 hours a day when I was a student. For a start, there just weren't enough hours in the day. Nowadays, when I read for pleasure, I probably read for an hour or two a day. It depends on whether it is a week day, or a weekend, and how much work I have to do.
I do try to set aside an hour before I go to bed to read in though, I usually exceed this if it's a really good book that I just can't put down though.

Did you mean when you refer reading as in reading our text in school or reading as a form of a hobby? Cause I read a lot lately, but more on fictional ones such as Harry Potter and novels by known authors, I could stay up all night and all day just by reading those books especially when I liked the story I just can't put it down. But on the average when I'm studying and reading my schoolbooks and lesson I spend 5-6 hours.
