Freelance writing is like a writing job where you get to hold your schedule compared to the regular writing job which sometimes require a number of hours that you need to be in the office. Freelance job complies to the set of requirements of the office... freelance job is more of an output based kind of task.

I am a freelance writer, an author, and an e zine publisher. To be a freelance writer first you must be a good writer, because people are paying you to write for them. It is not little stuff like mylot discussions it is serious work. If you are not a good writer you will not get hired. A freelance writer writes for anyone that will hire them, and so every place is different there is no standard way of getting paid, you could be paid by check or paypal. You get paid only when they hired you for a project and you completed it, the project could be short like writing a few articles or it could be long like writing a book for someone, but you have to be a good writer first either way. How much you get paid depends on who you are working for and what they are paying.

In my opinion, freelance writing is the person who could write free on internet and earn from his writings. You could find some sites which pay you for your post or review or articles. You could get paid according to the sites' rules

If you write somethnig to somewhere and they pay you for that article, if you don't write anything then you don't get paid. Mylot is a bit like freelancing, if we write anything we get paid for it, if we don't write anything then we don't get paid. Hope this helps
