Potatoes and at least 3 vegetables for me every meal, unless having salad that is. Pumpkin, peas, corn on cob, broccoli, carrot, cabbage and zucchini. Roast with pumpkin, onion, parsnip and carrots. Soup with lots of different veges including swedes and zucchini. Capsicum, tomatoes, lettuce, celery, sauerkraut, cherry tomatoes, cucumber, chilli, celery. Only vegetable I don't eat is beans unless they are in a bean and onion salad.

all my kids are good vegi eaters too which has made life easy for me at least we have had no arguements when they were smaller we had a rule that if they ate all their vegetables we would then have one night a wek whereby they didn`t have vegis at all but in the end they wanted vegis too

I never met a vegetable that I didn't like. I don't know if I like turnups, I have never tried them. I don't like beets or okra neither. I can't think of any others that I don't like.

I like most vegetables, favourite being pototoes, turnips I will add to soups but not eat otherwise (no particular reason though) Onions can be a bit overpowering and cause slight tummy upsets but like in moderation. I will eat but find them plain unless spiced up and that is brussel sprouts.

vegetables are the main source of vitamins and minerals, and it is very important to have most of them some time in a week to have a balanced diet, although i also agree to that all vegetables do not taste great and i also have preferences, like any body else we at home make it a point to cook each vegetables in a different way to make sure that the nutrition remains but the taste off them is changed or enhanced so that children and every body does eat them. so one can cook different food for different vegetables and make sure we eat all of them.

Vegetables - Healthy Vegetables
Where do I start _hope_ because we do like and eat a large variety of vegetables. The usual ones I suppose are potatoes, pumpkin, peans, beans, carrots and corn. The corn is sometimes on the cob and sometimes niblets, depending on which one we feel like. Broccoli, Cauliflower and squash are other regulars on our diet with silverbeet from time to time. Oh yes onions too but for me only in cooking or when they are baked because they give me heartburn. Parsnips when we have a roast because I prefer them when they are baked. Yams or sweet potatoes too, eggplant, cabbage and fried tomatoes, zucchini. It really does all depend on what is in season, what we can grow ourselves or else buy without spending a fortune. Many of these vegetables are steamed or cooked on the hot plate which is how we prefer them. The only one we will not have is mushrooms because I am allergic to them. And as yet I haven't even started on salad vegetables but I think perhaps I had better leave that for another time. LOL

wow you like me have a great range of vegis but i do like my mushrooms too .Most vegis are so expensive a week ago even the humble bean was $17.00 kg a bit out of my reach and broccoli was $15.99kg the price of fresh vegis are getting out of hand and my kids have all been bought up on fresh ones and won`t eat frozen ones even hubby turns up his nose at them .

I'm sorry to say I am a very fussy eater, I don't know why, but there are some veggies / fruits I cannot eat, for example Tomatoes, Cann't stand them, but I love Tomato soup & Sauce.. I think it is somthething to do with seeds. cucumbers the same. I stick to my basic veggies, Potatoes, Bean, Peas, corn. very boring...
