US$ getting stronger

am left wondering, the financial crisis started in the US yet still it's the other currencies of the world losing value and the USDollar strengthens as it seems demand increase. i thought since the crisis started there people would lose confidence in the USDollar and move away from using. think about it. why do u think it is?

yes ur write the us$ become stringer even after financial crisis..a lot of people and major banks buyed huge amount of dollars ,,,due to this trades dollar become strong..
