Place!! First gift :)

This is a sweet memory for me. My husband proposed to me at a restaurant high over the city in which we would be starting our life together. The restaurant revolved and you could see the whole city in an hour. It was a thoughtful choice of his to take me there, as I had dreamed of starting my life in NYC when I graduated college but love won out and I joined him where he was living. We saw that night as a way to survey what lay ahead of us. First gift he gave me?? Hmmm, while dating there were so many.... after getting married, a clock that we bought on our honneymoon.

Hey savitha. I am happy to make this response coz you remind me of my happy moments as I am having a hard time, lol. My bf is working abroad and I miss him so much. No, he hasn't proposed to me yet but his first gift for me is a bunch of roses. We were introduced to each other by his schoolfellow and then we cahtted on line coz he was abroad then. And in less than a month, he sent the flowers to my office and I felt so excited! It's my birthday and I was totally touched as he sent me roses from another country before I had met him in person. Romantic monment, haha.

Love??? I am not in love...... so, gifting to my part is not possible now.....

the first place i proposed was in front of the eight floor elevator in my dorm sophomore year. my first gift was a sack. those nights were sweet. back when we could just lay awake and talk all night.

My future husband proposed to me at the Duke Gardens in Durham, North Carolina. We had frequented the gardens when I would visit.. and he popped the question there! (on a bench near the bamboo). His first gift to me was a dozen red roses with a card and the movie serendipity. He also learned how to play a song on the guitar and sing it. This was all given to me during my first visit to see him. :) Oh i love him so much! And will become Mrs. on 09-19-09!!
